Joseph is doing a PhD with the support of the Université libre de Bruxelles (Grant “mini-Action de recherche concertée”) since October 2014 under the supervision of Pr. Emmanuelle BRIBOSIA (ULB – IEE) and Pr. Isabelle RORIVE (ULB – Perelman Centre). His research focuses on the balancing process between companies' economic interests and rights of persons with disabilities. In his research, Joseph follows an integrated (UN, EU and ECHR Law) and comparative approach (EU and US Law).
Before obtaining the PhD grant, Joseph was a research and teaching assistant at the Institute for European Studies of the ULB. He was also a trainee at the General Court of the Court of Justice of the European Union (by Judge van der Woude) and worked in a US law firm practicing mostly EU competition Law in Brussels.
