Lieselot Verdonck

Bio

Lieselot Verdonck is a doctoral candidate (Research Foundation - Flanders, FWO) at the Human Rights Centre of Ghent University. She is also a member of the Law and Development Research Group at the University of Antwerp. Her research analyzes the protection of economic and social rights against transnational corporations in developing countries. In this regard, she will examine litigation strategies in Nigeria and South Africa. She writes her doctorate under the supervision of Profs. Eva Brems and Koen De Feyter. Her research interests relate to the intersection between development and human rights.

Lieselot Verdonck is an affiliated researcher in the IAP. Her research topic and interests are strongly linked to the project, in particular to WP2 and WP4. She also works closely with other members of the project.
