Sarah Ganty


Sarah began her PhD research in October 2013 within the interdisciplinary research project “Action de recherche concertée” (ARC) titled “Under the Paradigm of the Merit and the Cultural Conformity: The New Integration and Migration Policies in Europe”. Her research focuses on the new integration policies for migrants in Europe and their relation to the principles of equality and non-discrimination. The project is supervised by Emmanuelle BRIBOSIA (ULB – IEE) and Isabelle RORIVE (ULB – Perelman Centre).

Before her PhD, Sarah worked as a lawyer in constitutional, administrative, refugee and immigration law at the Bar of Brussels. She was also a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Louvain in administrative law.

Sarah Ganty is an affiliated researcher in the IAP. Her research topic is closely related to the project particularly to the WP2. Moreover, Sarah regularly works with members of the IAP project.
